The goal of couples therapy is to have a relationship that brings both partners joy and contentment. Couples therapy can help improve communication, and trust within the relationship.
My therapy style is to offer compassion, understanding, creativity, humor, approachability, and authenticity. I consider myself to be open-minded, accepting, and curious. I am a kink-friendly therapist. I may use assessments in couples therapy to see what is working and what is not working in the relationship. My most used modalities in therapy are Bowen therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, and Narrative therapy.
